Day 98 - Today's drive was from Valdez to Palmer 268 miles!  Some of the roads were good, some better and some under construction!  Remember, 2 seasons in Alaska - Winter, and Construction!  Then the last 75 were up to 2,150 feet of climbs and dives and hairpin turns.  Everyone was pretty tired by the time they arrived.

Our treat for today was to go to a Reindeer Farm!  Well, I put in a good word with Santa for ALL of you and then went out to feed Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and Rudolf, just for good measure! Not to mention the other 50 that were roaming around. That was a hoot, but that wasn't all that was in store for us.  We (Nick and I), actually kissed a freeking MOOSE!  Oh yes we did!  Can you tell that after all this time we have absolutely lost our minds!!!

As we were driving back to the campground don't you now I see my first wild moose just outside the campground in the woods.  Wow!  Wonder if HE wanted to be kissed!  I doubt it.

Short and sweet for today - tomorrow to Seward.  Everyday is quite the adventure.  This is one gorgeous State!  And, the best is yet to come...
