Hello again - two in one day...yikes...but I have to make hay while the sun shines!  And before the wind blows...which it is doing now!  The flags are once again out straight!  But the sun is shining.  We have learned that when the wind is this strong, best to bring in the big slide- out, and that way there is less wind resistance.  That first big storm we were really rocking and rolling (and believe me there was NOTHING going on INSIDE the coach!!!

I was going to start this off with - "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" but I have calmed down...enough said.

We took the road less traveled today and that means we went outside of the park into the grasslands again and to a tiny town of Interior and even better than that, we saw a ghost town of sorts - not an old west town, but uninhabited nonetheless!

I'm not certain that we needed 5 days here, but I am enjoying the area, the campground and the views.  Tomorrow we are going to the Missile Launch Site which is just 1/4 mile from here.

Enjoy the Badlands...

Just catching up on all your entries as I was traveling while you were traveling. I've been to a lot of the places you've been too, which makes it even more fun for me to read. Yeah, I'm with you, the journey is as much of the trip as the destination - I'm always meandering and stopping. Enjoy your roadkill stew! That will help keep your expenses down!

The thing I remember about Northeast Montana living was the wind, every single day, the wind. And that was way back in the day when my hair was all teased up, a French twist and curls on the top. I used a can of hairspray every month!

So, enjoy the wind and the Badlands. They remind me of the old western movies. You should go to Rapid City and see Mount Rushmore.

Really enjoy reading about the Great Trek of Nick and Sandy to Boldly go where no other RV has gone... I especially like your Road Kill Du Jour . You really ought to compile a cook book by state and local recipes.. Take Care keep having fun and Travel safely.

It really is fun following your trek across the country. I have not been to these places, and you are saving me a lot of time (and gas).

Most of all, I am enjoying the great photography. Your eye for composition is fabulous! And, of course, the travel stories help bring those pictures to life..
