Sorry for not putting up any new entry but I have been busy packing up all my things to ship back to Oregon. It is interesting to realize how much stuff I have collected over the last six and half years. Lots of CDs, books, videos, clothing and lots of paper and pictures. I also realize that the 3 plus years in Tottori is the longest period of time I have spent in the same place (apartment, house, or room) since I left my childhood home in Jacksonville. I also counted 17 different places that I have stayed.

I have enjoyed living in Tottori as the prefecture is blessed with a beautiful coastline and green mountains with not many people. The people are nice too and I am sad to be living the great friends that I will miss. It was a very tough decision for me to make, to stay in Tottori or go back to Oregon. I love both places very much but end of the end, I decided to return to Oregon so I can watch the Beaver games in person.

I will catch the night bus to Osaka and then fly to Thailand on Thursday morning. Maybe it hasn't sunk in yet as I still have a lot of things to do before I go but I will soon be in the land of smiles with the temperature in the 90's (30's C), a big differnce of freezing weather and snow of Tottori.
