It is the night before I begin the first leg of my trip and I am not packed yet. I am waiting my clothes to dry before I pack them away. The other day I bought all the train tickets from Tottori to Kyushu, around Kyushu, Nagasaki to Tokyo and finally Tokyo to Osaka before arriving back in Tottori on January 2nd. It cost a bit but I think I saved some money by buying everything ahead of time. I

The trip plan:
1st Leg - Kyushu
December 17 - Tottori to Fukuoka by Super Oki and Kodama shinkansen. - Stay in Fukuoka
December 18 - Fukuoka to Yufuin - stay in Ryokan
December 19 - Yufuin to Kagoshima - stay in Kagoshima
December 20 - Kagoshima to Nagasaki - take the Kyushu shinkansen
December 21 - Nagasaki to Tokyo - take the Nozomi shinkansen from Hakata to Tokyo 5 hours straight

2nd Leg - Tokyo
December 21st to January 2nd I will stay with several friends and hang out and see a few sights around Tokyo. I will return via Osaka to see another friend.

3rd Leg - Tottori
January 2nd to 9th - Not a real leg but I have to pack up my goods and send them pack to Oregon and clean my apartment and say good bye to my friends.

4th Leg - Thailand
January 10 - Fly to Bangkok.
I am still working on the plan but I will spend the first week in Thailand before heading to Cambodia and Ankor Wat, then to Vietnam for a week before going to Laos and returning to Bangkok.

5th Leg - Return to Japan
February 8th - Fly back to Osaka.
Go to Tokyo by the way of Fukui.
February 13th - Fly back to Oregon via Seattle.

That is the plan. Hopefully I will have an update during the Kyushu leg.
