... off to find somewhere to stay for the night and ended up in a state park camp ground south of Seattle and a little north of Tacoma.  Nothing very flash but Steve was not feeling well with a very heavy cold and we needed to get sorted for the night.

So we wanted to eat at The Melting Pot. And they had been booked for two weeks. I hadn't even thought to make a dinner reservation. We figured it must be the American Idol Tour that had everybody busy. So, we hightailed it over to The Old Spaghetti ...

... , we did!   For one, I wanted to do an "overnight" somewhere with the kids, and for two, well, I happen to like Tacoma, its beautiful setting, its easy-to-get-around size, and all the things there are to do. Like, Pt Defiance Zoo, which I learned ...
