... Lexie have been looked after really well - thank you. Delayed by a day - but a great chance to catch up with the other part of my West Coast family in Reno. Then back up to Red Rock - battery replacement and I am all set. Another great family meal.

Yeah its very easy to take a day trip to the surrounding desert. Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley are the two I know off the top of my head

... mine there last year. We spent a total of about an hour in the casino...then the rest of the time was spent going out to Red Rock Canyon and climbing, going to the firing range and renting a bunch of different guns to try, and walking around the strip.

... ve seen, about 300 miles, I think it would almost require a night there to do it proper especially if you want to hike it at all. Red Rock Canyon is supposed to be really good for hiking and is a bit closer that can be done in a single day out from Vegas.
