Whenever I dream of summer, I'll dream of Port Hadlock, a July afternoon. This is it, folks, children running barefoot in the grass, flowers blooming everywhere, blue water-sky and sailing boats.

Never wake a sleeping baby, they say. Or an energetic little girl. I had a quiet hour with my coffee cup, watching the sleepy girl sleep.
