Hello, everyone!  So this first post is all about my trip to Texas for the first part of my training to Mercy Ships!  And to my surprise Texas, was GREEN! totally and completely green.  My vision of Texas was, dirt, road runners, cactus's ...

... ; And they have a beautiful pond with a gazebo. After that, as Madame Lash (private joke) would say, I was knackered.  So here I am at the LaQuinta Inn in Lindale, TX. hoping to get a good nights rest. Tomorrow, onward to Pecos.  More then.

By this time tomorrow, we will be on the road to DFW to depart to Heathrow!!  Trying to keep our heads on straight and sort out any last minute packing details.  We have checked and double checked (Vickie has triple checked :)) our lists.  ...
