Today is the start of our honeymoon.  We left Flint for Detroit and from Detroit to Amsterdam.

History became reality for  a moment when I visited Promontory Utah. Two trains meet one from the west and the other from the east. Where the two meet a golden spike was hammered into the maple rail.

As Promised, the trip home was more than I bargained for! I managed to get on the road at a decent time...no coffee yet and I think that the next week of coffee detox will be a hard one. I got to the ferry to get Vicki and we headed to the market for out ...
