This was the third leg of the trip. Not much to see but Northern Louisiana is beautiful. Staying in Oklahoma for the night and then off to Amarillo, TX to see the Cadillac Ranch. Tomorrow I hit Route 66 for the first time. Cool!
Juan figured it would be a good time for me to learn the ins and outs of his truck so I got my first experience driving a Dodge 3500 5 speed through down town Dallas and on to Ardmore where I was just too tired to go on. Pouring rain and Motel 6 beckoned.
