We visited Devon often to see family and it is a beautiful place.

Not a flat bit of road all day. Good weather quiet roads so a perfect cycling day. Support teams 1 (Nic) and 2 (Ann) in full action picking us up in Taunton and cooking dinner back in Bristol.

Ok, this is an easy one seeing as though I grew up 30 miles from the expanse of Dartmoor. They say that you can have a year's weather in a day on Dartmoor, and from experience I would tend to agree.  The first time I remember walking on Dartmoor was ...

... use A30 to Launceston. Head wind, hills, cats eyes and drain covers to contend with but no sign of the beast. Recovered in coffee shop in Launceston then on beautiful country roads to Okehampton passing into Devon, luckily we'd just bought out pasties.
