Today we travelled up to Middleton-On-Tees to have a walk about and go and visit the High Force Waterfall up north of the village. The waterfall only recently came to my attention along with Low Force further downstream. The walk down to the falls has ...

... towards Dufton from the spookily quiet village of Garrigill, where we were able to camp behind the village hall for a small donation. Have now reached Middleton-in-Teesdale and am now going to treat myself to some fish and chips. :)  

Over Xmas Joey had found what he described as "the best waterfall in England" (High Force Waterfall nr Middleton-in-Teesdale, Co Durham), and today we were going, yippee. Well we were trying to make it there... with the "arctic freeze" it was uncertain at ...
