... of the region. For example I reckon it is OK to fly straight to Mae Hong Son and skip Chiang Mai. But maybe if you are travelling to Siem Reap - spend the day on the bus to see the countryside. But up to you and how it all fits in. Hope that all helps.

... roads in Cambodia are also in a lot better condition now than they were a few years ago. The only bad road is the journey from Siem Reap back to Bangkok but even that wasn't too bad. Air Asia are also flying from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City from April ...

VISA I flew from Siem Reap into BKK 2 weeks ago, saw the new signs up at immigration about what you have to show to get a visa on arrival but neither me or my boyfriend was asked to show anything, depsite the sign saying you MUST show proof of onward ...
