Agreed. I spent last June/July around Krabi, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Pha Ngan and the weather was marvellous. No worries.. We kicked back around that area in the summer time too and it was really nice

Also consider Koh Phangan- if you get away from Had Rin you'll find awesome beaches to west and north which are much quieter. Koh Phi Phi is very good though.
