... . It was grey and dusty and the only red was the smattering of vegetation on the other hillside - not like the South African dirt I have known. Go to the Drakensburg and make it your home. Dedicated to the boys who left their blood on those rocks.

Hi, We've just returned from a trip to South Africa and Mozambique and loved every second. Which parks are you considering visiting in Kwazulu Natal? We visited a few and found Umfolozi / Hluhluwe park fantastic. Beautiful scenery and great game ...

... at the end of each day - in either hostels or B&Bs, we also camped in the Drakensburg. I'd definitely recommend driving over flying, the Wild Coast and Drakensburg Mountains are beautiful. Have a fantastic trip - when do you plan to go? Sian
