This day we went to Rijal Alma. On the way we stopped at interesting buildings like watchtowers, traditional buildings and an ottoman fort.

... 've ever spent time waiting in an airport, you can imagine 7 1/2 hours of it. Particularly in an airport as dire as Abha Regional. No facilities, no stores, a single cafeteria-type setup selling a couple of dried-up sandwiches, some sketchy baked goods, ...

In the morning we flew to Abha in the Assir mountains.

On the third day in Assir we went to Al Habalah where houses are built on the foot of a high cliff and only accessible by a cable car. On the way we also visited some traditional houses an watchtowers.
