i got a home there. not mine literally of course. so despite being an expensive place to be, i still keep coming back. and yes, i had me a whale steak in bergen. tasted like beef. one of the cleanest place ive been to.

... europe unless that scanrail pass somehow mixes people together (doubt it). my tip is therefore to avoid only taking the night trains and rather enjoy the nature (especially on the oslo-bergen journey) along the tracks. hope this was helpful... good luck

I just received my Scanrail pass in the mail. I plan on spending a week in Norway with a basic itinerary of Oslo-Bergen-[Myrdal-Flam]-Oslo-Trondheim and back to Copenhagen where I'm studying abroad. I need to go for cheap and hostels cost quite a bit ...
