The Banks Peninsula is one of my most memorable places, especially Okains Bay. Glad you did it. Isn't it beautiful? I had an amazing there last year which I'll never forget. Excellent blog by the way!

Free camping is legal in New Zealand and in most cases you should be able to find a nice spot and pitch up, or even pull over at the side of the road. If you want to do this, my advice would be to be sensible and not restrict others or park anywhere that ...
