... to get flights to Kathmandu which they show as a destination. It keeps coming up saying that no flights are available from LHR to KTM. Then when I tried to email them I got a message saying that my message had not been sent(three attempts) Useless lot.

Thanks irock! I am looking forward to the trek and will definately monitor my rate of ascent. Did you go with a western type tour group or did you arrange your trek from KTM?

... bus and stay overnight in Pokhara and continue next day, or across to Chitwan which is a shorter bus trip about 5 hours start off early in the morning, bath elephants in the afternoon have a good meal and a few beers and next day 5 hours to KTM Mike
