The bus ride from Kathmandu do the border took much longer due to a strike which blocked the highway. A total of 13 hours on the road where about 5 hours was spent waiting for the strike to clear up.

A 17 hour trip on the road. Nearly 10 hours driving with a 7 hour stall where villagers in anger blocked the highway. Usually this trip only takes 9 hours.
