Ngwe Saung is only about 20 km from the beach we went to when we first arrived in Burma, but 5 hours to get from one to the other.  The beach was one of the most idyllic and unspoilt we had ever seen - huge wide bay, light golden sand, beautiful ...

... . These were different than the ones in Pindaya and I ended up with 3 more!Good thing my suitcase is big.The roads in Myanmar are probably the worst I've seen anywhere. Some were paved one lane when the British were there and have never seen a work crew ...
