Rather then spend a lot of money getting buses down to Mexico, I found a cheap flight down to Puerta Vallarta in Mexico. This is just a big tourist resort and the plan was only to stay one night before getting a bus of there so I didn't realy get a feel ...

... from the fact that the beach was a little too busy for me and there are far too many Americans, I actually really liked Puerta Vallarta. The beaches are nice and it is safe to swim. The little town is interesting and of course everyone speaks English!!! ...
