Train or Bus between Riga and Vilnius

I found some information on - it says trains from Riga to Vilnius run on uneven days. It seems they also favour the buses though, saying they are comfortable and the train service has deteriorated over the years.

Well... it looks like TripAdvisor says you should take the train to Vilnius: But I don't see any information about a train in Riga: Maybe it's best to take the bus...
