Hmm, this is a tough one. But if you're Canadian, the government is advising you to "avoid non-essential travel" to Liberia. There are only a couple of blogs on Liberia on TravelPod, but it seems like they all had safe trips.

Hi all, I am contemplating working in Liberia for a while, and I am just trying to find out if anyone has any advice/info. I am concerned about safety, as I hear there are a lot of armed robberies and such. Any info would be great! Thanks!
