... , and the stupa itself is believed to contain a replica of Buddhas spine. Gross. Thats pretty much all that happened to me in Savannakhet. Once the trek was finished i got straight onto a bus for Tha Khaek, my base for an attempted visit to Kong Lor cave.
Just a stopover before heading to Vietnam. Quite a nice place though. Very faded glory colonialism.
We left the village and caught a local bus to Savannakhet the next day. We tried to find the dinosaur museum but the map was useless so we couldnt find it. Apparently its just a room though so we didnt miss a lot. Apparently they have found lots of ...
