... I am planning to go to Fukuoka and then head to Yufuin in Oita prefecture and then contrinue down to Kagoshima and onto Nagasaki. The trip is part of the plan to visit all the prefectures in Japan which will be down to 1 after the trip leaving only Fukui..

... I left my childhood home in Jacksonville. I also counted 17 different places that I have stayed. I have enjoyed living in Tottori as the prefecture is blessed with a beautiful coastline and green mountains with not many people. The people are nice too ...

More Onsens and Ryokans....plus a Japanese garden

... is just not easy for a non-Japanese. Though it must be mentioned that it is beautfiully presented, as you will see from the photos that we took. Overall, we give this ryokan a thumbs up, mostly because of its wonderful onsen. Next stop  - Tottori!

... yet. I am waiting my clothes to dry before I pack them away. The other day I bought all the train tickets from Tottori to Kyushu, around Kyushu, Nagasaki to Tokyo and finally Tokyo to Osaka before arriving back in Tottori on January 2nd. It cost a bit but ...
