Unfortunately today we are experiencing the typical weather of the japanese rainy season. I read somewhere that the rainy season was supposed to last only one month, namely June, but I guess it depends on the year....anyway instead of laying on a beach ...

... . the water was very very hot, I would say almost boiling but you could cool down in a warm pool when you felt your skin was ripping off! After the onsen we went to a restaurant in Shimoda which had very fresh fish, it was delicious and not very expensive!

... is sunny!!!! So we decide to head to Shirahama beach...I might have spelled it wrong..anyway it is a nice beach close to Shimoda where japanese go surfing. we could only spend the morning there because we had to catch a train to Fujinomya, a little town ...
