Today I headed south of Kobe for the first time since coming to Japan. Very south in fact - off Honshu and into Kyushu to visit the first of the two A-Bomb cities on my itinerary: Nagasaki. At 6 hours, the trip down was a bit longer than I expected,& ...
Ten years later, we return to the place where our life as we know it began. Fukuoka. The city where we became engaged, and where our first baby was born. It was like time travel back to our salad days.
... never experienced anything like it before in my entire life! Far from being a therapeutic experience in the tranquil Kyushu mountains, it was a noisy affair in which I passed at least five hundred schoolchildren...and seriously, that is a conservative ...
The final stop on my tour around Kyushu was Beppu, a place whose name always reminds me of Michael Greco for some reason. I`m not sure how well acquainted the Japanese are with Eastenders though, and to them it`s probably more famous for its hot springs, ...

Traveling to Japan

... Tokyo and then making your way down to Kyushu. You could hit major spots along the way: Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima, and then come to Kyushu. There isnt as much information on Kyushu as other areas, but if you have any questions please ask!

... couldn't figure out how to get to Kagoshima. Well Louise I know Yakushima is hard to find, its an island south of Kyushu. heres a map It's going to be awesome, I had learned of the island from someone who had posted their blog here about Japan ...

... to get by without knowing some Japanese but I'm sure you can get by. I really liked the southwest area near Kyushu. Hiroshima was my favourite city and would quite happily go back there some time. Thanks for replying rbisset...I'd actually read ...
