Quin, Ireland

Another castle - erected in 1467. This castle was already closed for the season. So all you could do was visit the walled gardens.

I was trying to get to both the Quin Friary and the Clare Abbey. But the road to the Clare Abbey was closed, so I only got one of them in. The Friary was built in an old Anglo-Norman castle. It has a fairly well preserved cloister area.
