We stayed just outside of Killarney. It was a lot better this way because the area wasn't that croweded.

I would also recommend the Gap of Dunloe...I don't know about kissing the Blarney Stone but I have heard that it's quite the tourist attraction. I also liked Muckross House which will show you some history... Have a great time!
