... locked down. We were pleased to see our friend from Nepal (Chimey Sherpa) waiting for us with a taxi at the end of our train ride. He took us straight to his parents home in Siliguri where we were greeted with warm smiles and wonderful Nepalese food.

About a 4 hour hitch to get from Darjeeling to Siliguri. We got on a cargo truck, walked some ways and then on a private vehicle.
