... and extremely dirty water to somehow get the clothes remarkably clean (mainly by beating the dirt out). We are really enjoying travelling in India (especially with the top food) and now are looking forward to abit of rest and relaxation on the beach.

Thanks! We've settled on Mumbai--Jodhpur--Jaipur--Agra--Delhi--Goa. I think the easiest way to travel within Rajasthan is by hiring a car + driver. Any recommendations/ the how-to's/ approximate costs?
