I found this on Wikitravel: From Italy, several ferries depart for Greece daily. Ferries to Patras (Pátra), Igoumenítsa, and Corfu (Kérkyra) leave throughout the year from the Italian port cities of Venice, Trieste, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi.

If somebody wants to travel from Igoumenitsa to Venice in winter (Oct. to Feb.) there will be no need for a reservation. In winter time the Greece - Italy route will be used from Truckers by 75 %, BUT they use the Ancona or Bari route. The Venice route ...
