Before we left the French Alps, we went to visit Jeff's parents in the southern part of the French Alps.
... from the heat of the day. In the steady rain, we climbed more comfortably, arriving at the top soaked but soothed. Down then into Valloire, our host village for the night, as a World Quad Bike championship was concluding and vacating the ski resort.
