I adore south of France, if you are into food, wine beaches it's amazing. Try Cannes, Beauleau and Narbonne Plage.

I volunteered in a small village called La Roc de Fa located somewhere between Narbonne and Carcasonne where we helped on a farm reconstructing an old farm house. The farm was in the middle of vineyards so often we would steal a few handfuls of grapes here ...
