Wow bloody wow! This joint is fantastic. Based in the French Alps there is stacks to do, paragliding, skydiving, rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking, mountain bike riding - so many verbs where the hell is the couch potatoing, TV watching, beer drinking ...

I can recommend two: Chamonix is great. Think French Alps. Also close to Mt. Dolent where French, Italian Swiss borders meet. Cool place. Good pubs, restos and a great Saturday market if you're into it. Tignes which I haven't been to in a long ...
