... Valley. We rented a car for the weekend and camped at Le Moulin Fort ( http://pagesperso-orange.fr/moulinfort/moulinfort/ ) which was walking distance to Chateau Chenonceaux! We also visited Chateau D'Usse, Chambord, and Villandry. A great trip!

 Today we'll visit chateau Chenonceau. It's just a couple blocks from our hotel.          In 1547 King Henry the II gave this Chateau to his mistress, Diane.   For some reason, his wife, Catherine de Medici, wasn't down with that. 

From Amboise we had a short drive to Chenonceau where we keen toursits along with one tour group we there early and had to wait 10 minutes until the chateau opened for day.  Once through the gates it was a lovely walk through the forest where the ...
