So, we went to the Dom Rep last year, really amazing country, amazing place to be. We didn't really get to see the 'real' Dom Rep, as we stayed in a 5 star resort..hehe. But the actual bits of the Island we did see were really nice :D

Am I to presume you are flying from Europe, not North America? Dominican Republic is an excellent choice on the way back. Have you got unlimited cash? I'm sure each of the destinations you mention have different fares. I've been to all three. ...
