Well after a quick train across HK I made it to Shenzen, had to spend the night here because trains to Guilin were full. Am off to Guilin tommorow on overnight train
It is certainly amazing to see how China develop in the past 5 years. There are high buildings everywhere in ShenZen, taxi, people, train, McDonald's, Starbucks, etc...

... least you can walk around. Anyway, since you have probably left Yangshou by now ( I noticed your post was placed in June!!) I just hope you had a good trip and made it to Shenzen. Hopefully this will be of use to someone else in a similar situ.
