Our 10hr bus ride from Kunming to Hekou was not the best. I can imagine that it probably wont be the worst though......... It entailed: A stop at a roadside cafe where maggots inhabit the toilets. Lots of very windy roads making for some very ill ...

... ? If you can't get your ticket - going up and spending some time in Sapa is well worth it while you wait. Thanks, and yes, I'm coming from China, taking the bus from Kunming to Hekou on the Chinese side. Sapa sounds great if I have to wait.
