After seventy-six hours on a sleeper bus, I have arrived in Ali, the administrative town for western Tibet. On the bus was an ecclectic group of 37 people: Tibetan nomads, Tibetan workers, Han workers, Muslim workers, two military men, a Japanese ...
... . In other parts of China we met Chinese people being nice, helpful and so differnt than Chinese people in Tibet. I guess China exports all questionable characters up to Tibet or, only such "special" characters volunteer to go to Tibet (a occupied country) ...
... , mais aussi morsure de chien (disons plutot de brute sanguinaire et stupide) et crevaisons aux pires moments. Bref c'est a bout que j'arrive enfin a Ali, mais avec l'immense satisfaction d'avoir atteint mon objectif et decouvert des endroits si beaux.

... ). Knows anybody what is the current situation concernig enter in Tibet for independent travellers ? Is possible enter in Tibet over checkpoints and get permit e.g. in Ali (pay fine, of course), or isn't do it as before 2008 ? Thanks for any news.
