... Rockies. For scenery and wildlife, would suggest an itinerary such as the one I took back in 1995: four national parks along the Alberta/British Columbia provincial line: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho. It doesn't get much better than that!

... the train.. (ugh) best places to stop on the way back?? Im living in Vancouver at the moment so dont have to worry too much about this side of the country, Banff, Jasper included so am more keen on what should be checked out in the middle! Thanks,
