Travel in Cambodia

... it's easy to get tickets. Most of the roads are now paved so it only takes 4 hours to get from PP to Sihanoukville. I spent 12 days in Cambodia and visited PP, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. I loved it there and would recommend the country to anyone.

... b/c as you said, opinions vary greatly. Frangipani is unique in that it's a little more 'upscale' as far as Cambodia gets. I can't be exactly sure what you're looking for but it might be worth checking one of the two out and going on ...
