Kampot is a small town known for it's high quality pepper cultivation. We used Kampot as a quiet stepping stone to the small beachside town of Kep before heading to the big city, Phnom Penh-- Cambodia's capital.

Agreed, Kampot is a great spot. Bokor is quite unlike anywhere else in Cambodia and is definitely worth a visit. As are nearby Kep and Rabbit island. I had a totally wild time in this part of the country a few years ago. I've got a blog entry and ...
