It's 1,316km from Alice Springs to Adelaide which of course can be driven but why would you want to do that when there's The Ghan. This 'historic' train route which has been going for 70 years (woohoo!) will take the strain for a few of your Aussie ...

Well, Australia beckons and the ideas have already started swimming around. I was wondering if any of you guys have travelled the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth, or The Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin, or both? How was it?
