... The idea is to see the gorge but it is so full of water that boats aren't allowed out, so everyone has come to look at the sights(?) of the town of Katherine. Which don't seem to be too numerous at this time on a Tuesday morning! Will report more later.

today we got woken up at 5am and it was absolutely freezing. after brekkie we headed off to a town called Katherine at about 6.15. when we got to Katherine town centre jamie told us that 6 years ago there was a flood here and that the water rose to 22 ...
