... no chance that we were going to get enough time to see it today so we stopped for the night at the closest town, 100km's away, Curtin Springs. The reason we stopped here and not Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) was due to price. We could camp for free in Curtin ...
... we can't wait. This has been an experience of a lifetime but I think with about 860km over the last 4 days we will all be happy to stop pedalling and get back to reality. Sorry - no pictures due to the only terminal at Curtin Springs not having a USB port.
Finally on the move again! Heading towards Uluru (Ayers Rock) but it was a bit far for us to do in one day so we stopped at a great roadside stop where we made use of our solar shower, made fire and cooked kanga bangas!
... 's and headed North with a view to staying at the painted desert, however due to rain the road was closed, so we continued north to Curtin Springs. At one point had to pull off the road to get out of the way for a police car on the wrong side of the road ...
