Kathmandu, Nepal

We started trying to get buses since 7AM yesterday morning and arrived at 3PM the next day.  Looking back it was a 32 hour effort to finally get here. I am exhausted but glad to finally settle down again. I will be staying with the same family and children I stayed with during my last stay in Nepal.

A 2 hour jeep ride down to Siliguri and then a 1 hour bus ride to the border of India-Nepal. Arrived late and stayed a night at the border on the Nepal side.

An overnight train ride from Mughal Sarai station (2 hours late) to New Jaipaiguri. A 16 hour train ride to my destination. Then from there another 3 hour bus ride to go up into the hills to Kalimpong.

New Delhi, India

From Bhairawa, I crossed the border into India. And then a 2 hour jeepride to Gorakphur. The train to Delhi came 2 hours late and I was onthe train for 16 hours and arrived the next morning.
