Helsinki, Finland

took the ferry across to helsinki. nice trip. got to see a lot of finns karaoke-ing to finnish heavy metal. a little surreal. beautiful and clean city.

took the bus to tallinn and explored the city. found another krishna restaurant (traveling with a vegetarian) which was great. friendly owner.
two days later we took the ferry to helsinki.

Riga, Latvia

got back to riga to meet jon. couldn't find him. he spoke russian at the university dorms and was told that there were no vacancies. when we showed up, we spoke german and got a room for $2. we ate dinner ate a cool krishna restaurant and got a bus the next morning for tallinn.
