Holy cow, I love Ireland!!!We flew into Dublin about 2 hours after the Lakenheath show and got to our hostel at about 12:30 in the morning.  The next day, we went on a "hop on, hop off" bus tour of the city and made some stops at Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse, and the Jameson Distillery among others.  We were staying in the Trinity College area so after the tour we started pub crawling.  The streets were packed everywhere (keeping in mind it was a Monday night!) and every pub we went into had a live band playing traditional Irish music, it was awesome!  We even ran into someone we met at Oktoberfest, how random is that?  The Temple Bar was cool too, it was in the Temple Bar area (obviously) and was a huge bar consisting of about 6 or 7 rooms with their own bar each and about 2 or 3 beer gardens, it was ridiculously big!  The weather was really nice the whole time we were there too, which is apparently an anomaly.  It was sunny and a bit warm pretty much the whole time, which led to some awesome double decker bus rides throughout the city on the tour.  I'm pretty much planning my next trip to Ireland in my head as we speak, haha, I can't wait to go back (only next time, longer than 2 days and more than Dublin)The next morning, we found ourselves back on a plane to England where we made it in just in time to make soundcheck for the Cambridge show...

The show went really well, considering the lack of available practice time before we started the tour and the ridiculousness of trying to find the place!  We headlined and worked out most of the kinks by the time we took the stage, which was cool because I had some family in the audience, though I'm not sure it was really their type of music.  The main thing is we're off and rolling and we've got 3 more shows in a row to solidify the music.  It's just great being on stage as Worst Off again, it's been too long!

I just got done recording vocals today and my voice is fairly soar because I went freakin' nuts with my vocals!!  These tracks are going to be insane!  Right now, we doing a bit of mixing of the vocals to get the levels all perfect before we start doing the big mix and master session tomorrow and (not being egomaniacal) they sound really, really good so far.  The tone of the guitars is really burly and that mixed with how I laid down my vocals today makes the tracks sound badass!  Can't wait to be able to show everybody the final cuts!

We just got into Germany and now Jimmy and I are hanging out on base at Ramstein getting some food before we head to Jimmy's friends house for the night.  Oktoberfest tomorrow!!!!  Aaaahhh yeeeaaaaaa!

The drum tracks turned out really, really well!  Today we're focusing on getting all the guitar tracks down and perfect.  So far everything is going smoothly, Jimmy's doing most of the work with doubling up the rhythm tracks and doing all the leads and all I have to do is a few lead parts and all the rhythm sections.  It'll definitely take more than one day with all the tweaking so good thing we've alloted 2 days for it!

Oktoberfest was ridiculously insane!  Gorgeous women everywhere, meter long brats, liter and a half beers, thousands (maybe even 10,000!) of people per tent, people from all over the world.  Trains were coming every 2 minutes that were jammed full of people in lederhosen, street sweepers with the sole intent to clean up the... well... effects of too much partying and keg-cart pulling clydesdale horses roamed the streets between the tents.  Its was one of the best times I've ever had, as well as probably the most intoxicated I've ever been as the beers were at least 8% alcohol each and each one was beyond delicious!
